Acupuncture is a form of holistic medicine within Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM). Chinese Medicine considers many aspects of an individual - the human body, constitution, personality, organ relationships and health, even the influencing aspects of the season and environment. We use an assortment of diagnostic tools such as pulse and tongue diagnosis, analysis and inquiry to decipher signs and symptoms - creating a pattern of disharmony. Our aim as Practitioners is to be of benefit by effectively treating the related “meridians” - or channels to create this balance. We use single use sterile needles as a conductor you could say, these needles stimulate movement, redirection and free flow of your bodily energy. Acupuncture is a deeply profound and effective medicine treating many different ailments. Our scope includes Tui Na (Chinese Massage), She Liao (TCM Dietary Therapy), Gua Sha, Cupping, and Moxibustion. Chinese Medicine is a physical, psychological and philosophical medicine which states that no single thing can be understood without acknowledging its relation as a whole. Our aim as Practitioners is to be of benefit to you along your healthcare journey.
The idea (simply put!) : use a thin sterile needle as a conductor, a tool to influence the flow of ‘Qi’ (or energy) within the body. With proper diagnosis and focused treatment protocols Acupuncturists hold the training and understanding to reestablish harmony within the Patient’s systems causing the disruption. Chinese Medicine is a physical, psychological and philosophical medicine which states that no single thing can be understood without acknowledging its relation as a whole.

Cupping is a modality of Traditional Chinese Medicine that involves using cups to create a suction on the Patient's area(s) of treatment. Cupping often invokes a mild ‘bruising’ and redness, commonly left in the area. The markings only last a few days and contrary to how it may look - it does not hurt! Quite the opposite - it may be a relaxing method of easing pain and ailments within the body. These markings are known as ‘Sha’, raised petechiae, or subcutaneous hemorrhages that appear after treatment. Please take a moment to research how the spots may appear so you are aware before treatment what to expect.
Cupping creates a decompression in the myofascial tissue, so it’s beneficial to blood and lymphatic circulation, it promotes cellular level repair, relaxing of the muscles, easing pain and stimulating the removal of toxins. It releases blood, body fluids and metabolic waste from tissue and brings it to the surface to be carried out through circulation & lymph cycles. This allows new oxygenated blood to flow into the area bringing nutrients, promoting repair.

AcuSculpting Eminence Organics Facials
Certified under an ‘AcuSculpting’ certificate, facial cosmetic acupuncture.
Facial Rejuvenation Acupuncture was originally developed to treat patients with skin conditions and paralyzed muscles from stroke. The result of facial acupuncture was so cosmetically pronounced that it was developed further into a specialized program for anti-aging and beauty. Through a course of facial acupuncture treatments, the results can be akin to getting a ‘facelift’ without the surgical risks of cosmetic surgery.
AcuSculpting is Traditional Chinese Medicine theory, this service includes supplementary body needles. AcuSculpting Facials may be directly billed as it’s a treatment within my scope of practice as a Registered Practitioner. Acusculpting is a specialized cosmetic acupuncture system targeting the whole body. This protocol is designed to firm, lift, tighten and shape tissues and skin thereby ‘sculpting’ the face and body. Specialized needle protocols, as well as massage, cupping, and gua sha techniques, helps to reduce inches, lift, plump, and change the overall appearance and structure of internal and external layers of the dermis

Gua Sha is a skin scraping therapy in Traditional Chinese Medicine.
Gua Sha may be used to move Qi and reduce blood stasis. It brings blood and qi flow to the surface - it shares many of the same benefits as cupping. It hosts beneficial effects on musculoskeletal pain & can be very effective in treating issues like the cold/cough. This service is detoxifying. Much like 'cupping' treatments, GuaSha is not painful and offers excellent relief for tightness in the back and shoulders.
